We have two types of Starlink systems, auto-find and the self aline Mini. With the auto-find, you simply plug-in the mains and antenna cable, then power on. The Starlink will auto-find the satellite and you will be connected to the internet usually within 5 minutes. Both systems have 2.4 and 5 GHz WiFi access and a hard wired LAN port.
The Starlink Mini is a smaller device (29.8 × 25.9 cm) that the end user will need to aline to the satellite and this is done via the Starlink app. You will need to download this on to your mobile phone, once you are aliened, connection to the internet is usually within 5 minutes. A three day hire will cost £99 (inc vat) delivered to your door!
Hire rates are £21 per day with a minimum hire of 3 days. The hire rate for 6 days and over is £15 per day including delivery and collection.
You will also need a “service plan” Our basic plan is £36 and this comes with 50GB of data.
Roam “service plans” allow you to use the Stalink in most parts of Europe “Roam 100 GB” is £55 or “Roam unlimited data” at £100.
Starkink typically delivers download speeds of 65 to 300 Mbps and upload speeds of 15 to 35 Mbps. All Starlink plans operate on a “best effort” basis and are not guaranteed (All prices include vat)
European use – Starlink is not authorised and can be subject to confiscation at customs in Belarus, Greenland, Russia and Turkey. Terminals operated in Ukraine must be pre registered with the Ukrainian government before use.
